Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry

Pharmaceutical chemistry Departmentin Diploma in Pharmacy was established with the establishment of Fabtech College of Pharmacyfrom academic session 2019-2020.The Department is having one Pharmaceutical Chemistrylaboratories withone additional Central Instrumentation room. All labs are well equipped with sophisticated and advanced instruments like HPLC, UV-Visible spectrophotometers, Muffle Furnace, Water Deionizer, Fuming cupboard, Conductometer, pH meter, Fluorimeter, Distillation unit, Melting Point Apparatus, Melting Point Apparatus etc.At the diploma levels, the department works on the identification of inorganic and organic molecules. The diploma students benefit from this department's assistance in understanding the fundamentals of pharmaceutical substance quality, purity, and synthesis. The many organic and inorganic materials used in pharmacy are introduced to the students, together with information about their synthesis, chemical makeup, identity tests, assay, impurity limits, etc.
