GPAT in General

The Graduate Pharmacy Admission Test (GPAT) is a nationally recognized entrance exam for Master of Pharmacy programs. Up until 2018, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) carried it out annually in accordance with guidelines issued by the Indian government's Ministry of Education (MoE). The NTA will now administer the Test. By using this exam, colleges can more easily choose pharmacy graduates who are qualified for admission to the Master's (M.Pharm) program. The GPAT is a three hours Computer Based Online Test. GPAT scores are widely accepted, being recognized by all AICTE institutions, Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), affiliated colleges, and other relevant institutions. The GPAT score is also used to determine eligibility for a few scholarships and other forms of financial aid in the pharmacy sector.
